What a sham! So then one's batisam is really a farce since the WTS isn't inspired by God. I'm wondering if one can have their DF'ing reveresed on the these facts:

"The Governing Body consists of a group of anointed Christian men These preside over the worldwide activities of Jehovah's Witnesses. They are not inspired by God and hence are not infallible, but they rely on God's infallible Word as the highest authority on earth." Talk about timely! Though I know you're not promoting the sale.....I'm getting this book!!! I've understood the creative aspect of fulfillment but support and the other questions poised are most helpful, especialy now that I'm dealing with family members who are constantly trying to pull me back into the Jaws of the Watchtower...... Also, I've noticed newly outted ones here on JWN are lost without direction and this book can really help!

this is on the official us government site.. note: someone was under the impression this was unconstitutional and it wouldn't pass, however, steven unthank replyed that tax exempt status (re: usc title 26 501 tax exemptions requirements) is not a constitutional right and can indeed be regulated by the us government through the irs.

I would think just as the case with Steven Unthank, though charges were not brough against the WTS, us emailing many of those officials as well as anythings else that was done, without question brought even more attention to religion and sexual abuse within. Because of this the UK is in the begining stages of reform.

My mother is trying to indoctrinate my 4 year old and I do not know what to do

my mother lives a plane trip away from me, so does not get to spend very much time with zac.

however, she is in sydney for 3 weeks and has been babysitting.

i knew that she would be talking about jehovah, but was very annoyed yesterday when zac said my mother was speaking all day about jehovah, such as how he made the stars.. in the past, i was not overly concerned if zac learnt about jehovah's witnesses, as i thought it would help with critical thinking skills to understand different points of view.

Oh my not good...

You're not only his father but the HEAD of the household (men rule in the wts). I would say I love you very much, but you have to RESPECT MY wishes and I have reasons for not wanting my child exposed to this. Tell her in a firm but loving way.

If she continues, I'd invite her over, not telling her why and MAKE her watch these BBC reports on WTS and child sexual abuse. It's easy to deny, when it's not in your face.

that's where i also come across a dummy company i have a feeling the own which i already posted.. while their begging and crying poor to jw congregations their running to the uk to invest.

@ bohn actually they are on the second page where it reads "Investors Currently Attending" on the right side.
